Halloween with the Pickles

Truman borrowed Henry's dinosaur costume from last year. Thanks Dorie!! Henry was definitely the most rockin' kid on the block in his costume. Dorie and Ben made his costume. He was a robot. So cool!!

Seeing Aunt Katherine in Austin

While in Austin to meet my high school friends, Katherine was in town for a wedding. We met on Saturday morning at Town Lake for a walk/run. It was great to see her, just too short of a visit.

Picnic at the Cemetery

We met mom and dad in between Fort Collins and Denver for a picnic. We ended up eating in a cemetery. We felt it quite appropriate since Halloween was just around the corner! Here is Truman enjoying the beautiful fall afternoon with a dirty face...

It's been a while...

I can't believe that October is already here! The leaves are falling all around us here in Denver and there is a coolness in the air. Time has certainly not been on my side, at least free time that is! I haven't posted pictures since June 1. I will work on this tonight and just back date them. I know that a blog is for writing, but I use it more for posting pictures. Picto-blogging! There is so much to catch everyone up on, so enjoy!

Race For The Cure

Truman and I joined several of my friends for Race for the Cure. Apparently, Denver has one of the biggest turnouts...I think 50-60,000 people show up. It was really an amazing experience seeing so many women, mainly in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.
